August was a hot one, and we’re not just talking temperature outside! Our Assisted Living’s have been on fire! Jackson’s First Annual Fair Week was a huge success. There are some foods that you can always expect at a fair. Corn dogs were invented at a state fair and continue to be a popular choice with our residents. Our residents at Jackson made a fun filled week with prepping and creating dishes for the community. Those dishes included corn dogs, cotton candy, fried vegetables, lemonade, and vinegar fries. I think we all need the invite next year!

Superior Woods is almost ready for its face lift. They will be getting new carpet, furniture and walls will be painted. In addition, we are working with Laura Lauinger on new menu choices for our residents to enhance their dining experience.

National Assisted Living Week is an annual event in which we take a week during the month of September to honor the residents in assisted living, as well as recognize the value our assisted living staff provide.  Help us recognize all of the staff, volunteers, and our residents that play a vital role in making our communities a success. So, get ready…September 11-18, 2022, is going to be a week to point out the amazing things that go on at Mission Point Assisted Living!
