Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Mission Point of Greenville offers a certified ventilator unit for patients that suffer from a variety of pulmonary diagnoses. A team of qualified and highly trained RN’s, LPN’s, CNA’s, Respiratory Therapists and other care staff work together to provide patients with an interdisciplinary approach to help pulmonary patients in their recovery.

Some diagnoses that may benefit from pulmonary rehabilitation are:
  • COPD
  • BiPap/CPap
  • OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea)
  • New and Chronic Tracheostomies
  • Pneumonia
  • Auto Injuries
  • Traumatic Brain Injuries

The interdisciplinary team, including respiratory therapy, 24-hours a day, help care for patients that require wound care, teaching, PEG tubes, NG tubes, physical, occupational, and speech therapy. All staff are trained with 40 hours of extensive specialized training for respiratory care needs. The center has piped in oxygen and suction to help meet the high oxygen needs of pulmonary patients. Our Life Enrichment Team provides one-on-one activities to help keep patients active and engaged in their recovery process.
